Say Media has added a key new member to the Say Media board, Jim Warner. Jim is the principal of Third Floor Enterprises, an advisory firm specializing in digital marketing and media that he founded in 2009. His experience in scaling media companies will be a huge asset to Say Media in the months ahead.
In his expansive career, Jim has led a digital agency, broadcast network, global syndication business and magazine publishing company and has held senior roles that have run the gamut from business development to international operations. He not only grasps the big picture growing a digital media company but the unique components that make an operation most effective.
Jim joined the digital media start-up company, Avenue A, in 2000 and built its East Coast operation into one of the pre-eminent digital agencies. He became Executive Vice President of the company when it acquired Razorfish in 2004. He also served on the executive committee of aQuantive, the parent company, which was acquired by Microsoft in 2007 for $6.6 billion. As a leader of Avenue A|Razorfish, Warner advised Fortune 500 marketers such as Capital One, Verizon and Starwood Hotels on digital marketing and advertising, Web design and development, strategy and business development.
Jim has also held senior positions at Primedia, CBS and HBO and is is a Trustee of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of New York City. He lives in Westchester County, New York with his wife Priscilla, a New York Times bestselling author.
