The UK's premier tech showcase, Digital Shoreditch runs from May 20-31, 2013 and celebrates the outstanding creative, technical and entrepreneurial talent of East London, Tech City, and the UK. The annual festival features the most talented digital and technical creative thinkers, hosting hackathons, presentations, workshops and more.
Nearly all the nearly 400 scheduled sessions were chosen by a pitch process, which was then voted for by the public and the Digital Shoreditch community. Say Media will be hosting 3 of these spots:
Paps Shaikh, EU General Manager will chair a session called Back To The Mobile Future where he will be joined by some of the UK's leading authorities on cutting edge technology and mobile marketing trends. Attendees to this session will then be divided into groups and using a variety of supplies will be challenged to build the mobile device of the future.
Carla Faria, UK Solutions Director, will share the secrets of telling a great brand story that demonstrates the qualities of immersion, interactivity, integration and impact, during Stories to Tell, Brands to Sell. The workshop attendees will create a brand story for Digital Shoreditch and promote this creative, clever and cool Borough of London to the world.
The Digital Shoreditch festival will involve open houses, workshops, interactive artworks and installations, augmented reality games, and of course, parties (think SXSW in the UK).
