Things I Love: Travel Finds from Erica Dublin of Wayfare

“Travel is not defined by how many miles you cover. It’s about finding inspiration along the way and celebrating the everyday moments.” Those are words that Erica Dublin lives by, and not coincidentally, they’re also the mission statement for Wayfare, a beautiful, new digital travel magazine she founded and launched in February 2012.

Erika is a Say Media partner and we interviewed her shortly after Wayfare launched. We invited her back to share some of her favorite travel finds of the season:

Nomadic Thread Society Scarves and Wraps

A frequent traveler, I love Nomadic Thread Society’s beautiful scarves and wraps for adding a touch of color to any outfit or to use as a blanket for my three-year-old. Beautiful and sustainable, each collection is from artisans and small producers around the world or manufactured in New York City. (nomadicthreadsociety.com, prices vary)

rib & hull Heirloom Tote

This handcrafted heirloom cognac tote by rib & hull is my everyday bag and favorite carry-on. The beautiful, rich brown takes me through the seasons, and the minimalist design goes with everything. (ribandhull.com, $285)

Bensimon Sneakers and Saint James Minquier Shirts

Bensimon sneakers are perfect for exploring and my daily errands. You’ll find me in these, paired with a striped Saint James Minquier shirt from Ann Mashburn’s online boutique, a few days out of every week. (bensimmonusa.com, $45; annamashburn.com, $65)

Donkey in the Medina by Rick Poon

I love animals, especially when they are combined with travel. I am literally transplanted to Morocco when I gaze at this brightly decorated Donkey in the Medina taken by one of my favorite up-and-coming photographers, Rick Poon. (Rick Poon Photography, author’s collection)

I keep a few of these Truffle bags in my tote. They keep me sane and organized. (onetruffle.com, $32 and up)
