Things I Love: Design Finds from Rachel Jones / Black Eiffel
Graphic designers are great curators. Take Rachel Jones, a graphic designer who started the blog Black Eiffel as a creative outlet in 2007. A lush bit of eye candy from a well-traveled, music-obsessed graphic designer, Rachel's site draws inspiration from a wildly diverse set of influences. We interviewed her last year – and invited her back to share a few of her favorite design finds for spring:
Altair Tent
How glamorous and exotic would it be to pop up this lavish, beautiful Altair tent for a fun party or event? The ideas of what you could do with it are endless. (Anthropologie, $8,998)
Tolix Café Chair
I’m a huge fan of French modern industrial styles, and these timeless Tolix chairs are one of the favorite items in our home. They come in different colors, sizes and shapes. Anything Tolix is pretty much amazing. Although they have become more commonplace in the states, I love the French history behind them. (Pottery Barn, $269)
The Sprouted Kitchen
There has been a huge movement of fantastic whole foods cookbooks on the market, and The Sprouted Kitchen is definitely a standout. The recipes and authenticity of the authors shine through. (SproutedKitchen.com, $25)

Jonas Damon Radio Dock
Jonas Damon is an incredible designer, and I love almost everything he touches. Although this cool, minimal radio phone dock is a prototype, I hope it hits the market soon. The Dieter Rams influence is apparent, and it is absolutely gorgeous. (JonasDamon.blogspot.com)
Aquaovo Carafe
Often I am seeking out and trying the next latest water bottle — it is a slight obsession. Next up I would like to try this stunning Aquaovo Carafe, which keeps your beverage hot or cold. It looks like it would be a dream, and it is a beauty as well. (Aquaovo.com, $29)
Loop Key Holder
The well-designed details of things excite me, and this loop key holder is something I reach for daily and smile almost every time I do. (Canoe, $22)
Mud Australia Porcelain Bowls
These pretty, ceramic, colorful bowls from Mud Australia would look brilliant all mixed together on a table. (Mud Australia, $17 and up)
