Content is the number one marketing priority for brands for 2013 and advertisers are keen to understand how to connect with their audiences through quality content. Better Internet connections and mobile devices have also radically changed the world of retail - both on and offline. It's inevitable then that these two worlds are converging as retailers use content to amplify engagement, and content producers turn to e-commerce for new revenue opportunities.
This confluence of content and commerce is the central topic being explored at the upcoming Festival of Media Global, which takes place this year in Montreux, Switzerland. From April 28-30, 800 of the world's most senior media figures will gather to hear from experts in the fields of content, commerce, consumer behaviour and creative media thinking. Say Media’s CEO and co-founder, Matt Sanchez will bring the unique Say Media perspective to the content conversation on the main stage at the Festival and will join other business leaders including Sameer Singh from GlaxoSmithKline, Frank Boulben from BlackBerry, Kevin Burke from Visa, and Louis Di Como from Unilever.
Using live examples from Say Media's case study portfolio, Sanchez will explain why a point-of-view has never been more important as the relationship between content and commerce grows even closer.
