We live on an increasingly networked planet. Mobile, social and cloud networks are reshaping the way we work and live. That's why today we're excited to introduce ReadWrite, the next iteration of ReadWriteWeb. ReadWrite exists to set the agenda for this transformation, and help our readers capitalize on opportunities created in an emerging, deeply connected world. To lead the way, we've also appointed veteran technology editor and former Newsweek columnist Dan Lyons as editor-in-chief.
Dan has more than 25 years of experience covering the technology sector and Apple in particular. He also penned the "The Fake Steve Jobs" column, has written for Wired, the New York Times Magazine and appeared on programs such as CNBC, CNN, BBC and Bloomberg. Dan has been brought on board to drive editorial strategy and deliver compelling content, with the bold and personal point of view.
"We think readers will quickly appreciate the editorial direction we are taking, while advertisers and marketers will find ReadWrite a great place to connect with millions of the world’s most savvy tech enthusiasts," says Dan.
ReadWrite was rebuilt with a "tablet-first" approach on Say’s proprietary digital publishing platform, featuring responsive design and a seamless content experience across desktop, mobile and tablet. ReadWrite will cover the evolving tech industry with the expertise readers expect, but also with the wit, humor and honesty that readers crave.
