Best of New York Fashion Week 2012

Sounds glamourous, oui? We've pulled together a digest of highlights according to the experts— the good, the bad, and the just plain bizarre (puppies in bondage, anyone?)— bringing you a sneak peak into this season's stand-out statements.
Fashionista's news editor Hayley Phelan swooned over Theysken's collection for Theory, which manages to keep the "real girl" in mind: "She just happens to be insanely cool and well-dressed", adds Hayley. Executive Editor Leah Chernikoff delivers the inside scoop on Marc Jacobs's show at the Lexington Armory, promising that "Marc Jacobs still the most exciting show at New York Fashion Week— I smiled the whole way through (and that’s a feat to get an editor to smile after working five 15+ hour days in a row)." Check out Fashionista's NYFW page for the full scoop on more than 50 NYFW events.
Creating a look book all their own are Erica Chan and Lauren Kolodny, co-founders of Honestly…WTF, who have created an incredible gallery of Instagram images to deliver their favorite looks to their readers: top picks include pieces from Tibi, Sachin + Babi, and Rag & Bone.
