That’s why we’re pleased to announce the latest addition to the SAY: Media team, David Aufhauser, VP of Media.
In this role, David is responsible for building and managing relationships with publishers and content creators and working closely with them to develop strategic monetization, engagement, and audience solutions. With over 17 years of experience in the Internet and media industry, David brings with him a unique blend of business acumen, deep publisher relationships and an inherent understanding of the symbiotic relationship between media, technology and social distribution.
David is also company advisor to and investor in a number of consumer Internet media companies including Yobongo, Sports Blog Nation, Yardbarker and others.
Prior to his role at SAY Media, David was the Chief Business Officer at Justin.tv leading business development and strategy David led the digital media platform and business development at Bebo as well as social media initiatives at AOL after Bebo’s acquisition. Prior to Bebo, David worked with small and large Internet media companies including Citizen Sports, Yahoo, Evite, Netscape, McCann Erickson, and NBC’s Olympic coverage. David earned a BA in International Relations from Stanford University and his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
